Nice beer garden with a good selection and a beautiful view of the Neckar

5 stars for location. 4 stars for the staff. We had a salad that was quite tasty.

First of all we would like to say that the service was really friendly, quick and competent! Not too pushy, but very pleasant there as soon as we had requests! The very friendly and nice manner rounded off the ambience perfectly! The location of the beer garden: DREAMY !!! With a direct view of the water!

Beautiful beer garden, located directly on the Neckar. This was our second time here and we loved it. Top service, the girls are quick, competent and very friendly, even if they are treated rudely by difficult guests. The schnitzel and the burger are highly recommended! We'd love to come back anytime 👍🏻

Absolute disaster. Service unfriendly, completely inflexible, if you as a vegan want the tarte flambée from several available side dishes, you only get one: Eat it as on the menu, we can't mix with so many people. You can only leave out one ingredient. Stupid when you have to choose between bacon and cheese. In addition, the tarte flambée was cold. A complaint that this is cold went to nothing. You wanted to take care of yourself, but that was it. Salad inedible as it was drowned in olive oil or poured with pure mustard. Service quickly sloppy and overwhelmed. Children's chairs completely dirty. When asked to clean it, it is only roughly wiped over it, so that you have to ask to clean it again. This bar only exists because it has daily shipping traffic and people usually only come once. In a normal place, this restaurant would have closed a long time ago! Even the normal eaters among us found the bratwurst terrible. Conclusion: Even if it is very nice near the water. Better look for another restaurant. Nobody likes to eat expensive bad food!

The location is beautiful, all service employees were very nice, despite the full garden. The food is not great, but okay and tasty.

We were in a small group for dinner in the beer garden. The food was tasty and freely prepared. In spite of the Corona, pleasant atmosphere, as there is an extensive area directly on the Neckar. Definitely visit when you are there.

Cake inedible (at least several days old), service catastrophic - you actually expect a waitress to be dressed accordingly. A shame for the wonderful beer garden. The second star is clearly for the ambience. Greetings from Mainz

Very nice beer garden with a few flaws. Fast, stressed service that will simply be overwhelmed. But the drinks came very quickly. The food took a while, was brought over 100 meters from the actual restaurant on the other side. Partly covered with a lid, but then brought (correctly) without a cover. You can't go wrong! Price-performance not okay! Very high priced for the quality of the food! In conclusion, not to be recommended

The food was very good, drinks came quickly, the service was super nice! BUT ... the sound makes the music, leaving guests sitting in the rain and yelling at from afar if they want to escape under a tree because it is about to start raining is not acceptable even during Corona. With the statement that they get rain under the tree ... WHAT? .. if the statement came that it wouldn't work because of the distances - ok! But less than 5 minutes later a cyclist came who was allowed to take a seat there. Allow him not to get wet. It's a shame that the super nice and fast service received my criticism. But definitely not worth a recommendation for me! It's a shame, because the view clearly has more potential. All the best to the nice service.

Nice beer garden with a typical beer garden menu. The beer garden is idyllically located above the dock of the White Fleet Heidelberg. A perfect place for a short beer while waiting for the ship.

Nice place, too bad for the invasion of wasps, one of which stung my daughter. Rude and arrogant staff: we sat down at 1.10pm and at 2.30pm we still hadn't eaten. We were 3 adults and 5 children. We left paying for drinks only

We had to wait for our ferry and ate burgers in the beer garden. Sensational and super tasty. I can only recommend it. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices also fit. Nice view of the Neckar and the landing stage.

Beer garden is beautiful on the Neckar, old trees, lots of shade. We were only there to have a beer, but it was good - palm brew, very nice and brisk service. I can not judge food, menu was clear and simple.

Went on our motorcycles. According to our navigation system, the location was recommended to us. And we were all thrilled. Eating TOP! , Drinks served quickly. Service very friendly and courteous. We would love to come back here. And what is hardly mentioned. Toilets absolutely clean.

Top location. Slightly higher on the banks of the Neckar. The trees offer enough shade even on hot days. Nice service, delicious beer. We didn't eat anything.

After a wonderful hike above Neckarsteinach a perfect opportunity to rest a little. Beer garden right on the Neckar. Quiet and beautifully located. Attentive service. Come again!

The location is wonderful but that is almost about it. The food is really ok so are the prices but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Orders often get cancelled due to the lack of ingredients.

It is a Biergarten, so go for the beer and the view that is very nice, The Burger is not so good but the fries ok.. i dont expect super food in a biergarten, thats why 4 stars. So if you want to really have lunch with a view i would not recommend, but if you want a beer and maybe some fries or somethink like that, i would recommend.

The service leaves much to be desired and so does the food. I’d recommend the ,, Waldschenke” instead, which is a great beergarden in Heidelberg.

They were not busy, but the staff was hard to find, brusque and slow. Food was average.

The place has a very good view of Neckar and is amazing for a quick grab of beer and snacks. There are only few options for food items.

What's not there to like about the beer in Germany! Nothing changes at this place. the view just adds to the flavor..the downside though is the food..not really a lot of choice..but worth a visit!

The Service was very attentive, efficient, and friendly - really special. There were 8 of us, from 8 to 81 years old, and we all had a good lunch in a beautiflul Biergarten with wonderful service. ❤️❤️❤️
